Christmas . . . Day 25

Santa will be coming soon to our house, presents are all wrapped and under the tree.  Cookies are made and ready to eat with a full mug of milk.  I will be taking a few days off from posting to spend time with the family.

Christmas . . . Day 24

Only one more day to go.  This post will be another quick one.  I had a great Birthday, came home from work and the kids had cleaned the house!!!! YES!!!!  Went out for family portraits, first in 4 years, and then to dinner.  Came home and had a cake made by the kids.  Watched a movie " Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase, gotta love that movie, such a classic, and now I need to wrap presents.

Christmas . . . Day 23

It is the 23rd and Happy Birthday to ME!!! Yes, I am a Christmas Baby.  Came home on Christmas Day.  Here I am with my two older sisters.  My first Christmas. 

When I left the hospital, they put me in a Christmas Stocking.  Here are my sisters trying to put me back in a year later.

 

Here is a Christmas layout I did a couple of years ago.  This was my dogs first Christmas. I have a whole album of layouts of just him. 

 

Today, was another day of making gifts at the bakery.  It was super busy too.  Everyone coming in for gifts and bread for their holiday dinners.  The whole bakery smells soooooo good with all the freshly baked fruit and cinnamon breads, cookies everywhere, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, apple and pumpkin pies.  Oh and YES, I am doing Weight Watchers and it is NOT easy with all the temptations.  I am constantly nibbling and all the scones and muffins.  The owner of the bakery is doing weight watchers too.  The two of us have our stash of fruit and I talk to her about burying my heads in the humongous mixing bowl (large enough to fit my whole head and shoulders) of freshly whipped cream cheese frosting that looks so smooth and creamy and smells divine.  I am always wanting to lick the mixer beaters too, but I know that wouldn't be so good and the beaters are the size of my torso. This is where I work.  Ya, I did the website too.

We are only a few days away from Christmas.  Cheryl has been keeping up with her layouts. Here is more of her album:

Christmas . . . Day 22

I work at a bakery, Great Harvest Bakery, and for the last 3 days, I have been making gift sets and making bow, making gift sets and making bows, making more gift sets and making more bows.  I am kinda tired of making bows. Sad because I haven't even wrapped my own gifts.  I have 2 more days of this.  I sure can put together some great gift sets though.  Need any advice?  Glad to help in that area, LOL.

Christmas . . . Day 21

Wow, the days are going quick.  Tonight, my daughter and I did some Christmas shopping. Went to the mall a bit, Old Navy and Target.  We spent most our time at Target. LOVE Target.  Bought our holiday jammies too.  Do you all buy new jammies for Christmas?  We do every year.

Christmas . . . 18

Christmas is  very near.  I did get a bit more shopping done thanks to Amazon and their free shipping.  Oh do I love Amazon.  As I type this, I have a crew of teenagers over for a holiday party, cooking pizza, listening to music, making treats, and wearing their awful Christmas sweaters. I am hiding out in the basement with the big dog where it is a bit more quiet.
